- As troubling as this story appears, you have to do some research. Technically, the group is correct. The 1st amendment prohibits CONGRESS from establishing a religion. The constitution does say that anything not granted to the feds is granted to the states, provided it is not forbidden.

- The problem I have with these programs is a local one, here in Yonkers NY, they have the red light cameras on lights that have a yellow light that is not 3 seconds long, usually only 1, sometimes 2 seconds long.

- Then call it a civil union - give it all the tax, benefits etc. privaledges that typical marriages get, and call it a day. I do realize that my position may be in the minority- don't call it marriage but offer full benefits - but it is my position.
